Complete reproduction of the 1977 book H.R. Giger Necronomicon. This book was the first major compendium of Giger’s artworks and contains texts written by Giger on his early life, influences, subject matter among other topics. The book is also known for having been given to Ridley Scott during the pre-production of Alien, leading Scott to invite Giger to produce art and conceptual designs for the film.

For this edition, the book was translated entirely from German to English as the English-language version of the book is long out of print and is an exceedingly rare collectors item. In addition to a new translation, each image was individually bitmapped and edited for optimal quality and clarity.
