This is a zine made by Kyri with Citation Needed.

The president of the Charmander Club has done it again in his second publication with Citation Needed. Through a blend of comics, analog memes, and xerographic inversions, this book tells a non-linear story of exhaustion, oreos, and explosions. Warning: You may die laughing!

Kyri is a 5th grader who lives in New York. He loves Oreos, making memes, and his friends.

Citation Needed is an intergenerational publishing initiative, supporting the creation and production of artist books by 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Through a weekly workspace, participants generate individual and collaborative books, utilizing photocopiers, typewriters, and a range of drawing materials. Citation Needed provides project-based arts experiences for children while amplifying their voices through the printed matter and book arts. This initiative is led by artist Ari Wolff, in collaboration with the 14th Street Y After School and Printed Matter / St Marks.
