In February 2024, the artist checked-out every available book by an author who committed suicide from the Brooklyn Public Library (Grand Army Plaza). At home, he stamped each book with this information on the title page of each. He scanned each marked title page before returning the books to the library. This book contains a collection of every scan. For the artist, this project exists in two places. First, out in the world, so to speak, in general circulation; anywhere a stamped book is found. Second is inside this publication, which includes an index of all the authors looked for creating a book-as-memorial. -Publisher
