[NEUTRAL COLORS] is an independent magazine. A concept we care about is, “to convey what was born in the individual.” This issue’s theme is made from what the director, the designer and the contributor actually saw, felt or thought.

This 5th issue of Neutral Colors features “language” as it’s theme. In language, the individual is most apparent. We would never be able to ignore the individual differences of each language even if the globalization advanced. We want to explore the specificity of the lands and the cultures of individuals. In this issue, we recognize language’s difficulty and think about how we can convey our intentions together in this magazine. To learn a new language regardless of age, to convey with braille or sign language…language is all about “communication.” -Publisher
